Description:
*** Sweet Pea is a courtesy listing and available for adoption through SoCo Rescue. She's currently in a foster home in the middle Georgia area. With an approved application, she can be available for adoption at one of our upcoming adoption events in Ringoes, New Jersey. An application for Sweet Pea's adoption should be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to "Register" or "Log In"). Questions about Sweet Pea and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.*** Sweet Pea and her sister, Lola, were among a number of dogs that another rescue had placed into a wonderful foster home. That rescue closed its doors and simply left the foster with the responsibility of caring for the dogs. SoCo Rescue is assisting with finding them all new homes. Sweet Pea is a very gentle and loving pup. She loves to cuddle and finds great joy in snuggling up next to someone when it's time to sleep. Being very smart, Sweet Pea quickly learned that a nudge from her nose or petting you with her paw will usually gain her a belly rub or good ole butt scratching. She's energetic and would do best in a home that allows her plenty of room to run. She great with other dogs, cats and kids as well. Sweet Pea is current on all of her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives. She's performed very well on her house training at her foster home. She's also been spay and has tested negative for hertworms.
