**Gleason will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Penington, NJ) over the Jan 4-6 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for his adoption from homes in the New Jersey/NE area**

While some hunters were enjoying a ride on their fourwheelers, they came across Gleason and his brother, Carney, who were simply wandering in the woods. Both dogs appeared to have been stray for a while, being underweight and having cockleburs embedded all into their fur. Both were also infested with ticks and fleas as well. The hunters brought the brothers to us and we tried, in vain, to locate their owner. 

Gleason appears to be the more dominate of the pair but hasn't  displayed any aggressive nature. When first encountering another dog and if unsure of that dog, Gleason will growl a little until he becomes familiar with them. He is very people friendly, loves giving and receiving attention and conducts himself as if he's been accustomed to being someone's lap pet. He will definitely make a great companion for someone looking for a friendly, low keyed friend.

Gleason has been fully vetted, tested negative for heart worms and started on his monthly preventatives. We're not sure if he's house trained so his adopter must be ready to provide additional training.
