Gizmo formerly belonged to a young lady who recently started college. Once attending classes and staying on campus, the young lady found it "stressful" to have to care for this handsome fellow and her parents (who had Gizmo) decided they didn't have time to properly care for him. The father contacted us on behalf of his daughter and we were able to get Gizmo into our rescue.

Gizmo is a fun-loving, very playful and affectionate dog. He is a little shy at first, but very eager to become friends with everyone he meets. Gizmo has interacted very well with other dogs and has shown no interest in cats. He will make a great family companion.

Prior to coming to SoCo Rescue, Gizmo received proper care, being kept up to date on his annual vaccinations and monthly preventatives. We did have Gizmo neutered, administered additional de-wormers and restarted his monthly preventatives. Gizmo has had some house training but may need a refresher course once in a new home.
