A woman woke up one morning to find a puppy was in her fenced back yard. How the pup got there is a mystery and no one in the neighborhood had ever seen or knew anything about this pup. SoCo Rescue was asked to take him in and "Guru", as we named him, came to SoCo Rescue on Oct. 16th.

Guru quickly adjusted to his new life at our rescue, making friends with a few other dogs almost immediately. He's very playful, happy and smart but he can be a little shy when first meeting new people. But with a couple days of patience and trust building, Guru will bring all sorts of happiness into your life. Since he is very dog friendly, having another playful dog to share a home with will only benefit Guru. Guru is on the calmer side, even when playing.

Guru has been neutered, received and update on all of his yearly vaccinations, de-wormed, started on his monthly preventatives. His recent fecal exam detected some worms but we've treated him since. Guru most likely will need house and other basic training but he is doing well walking on a leash.
