**Gemma is a courtesy listing and scheduled to appear at our adoption event on June 16 at PetSense in Dublin, GA.**

A local dog rescuer found a female dog and her 1 day old pups living in the woods. It was apparent that this mom had been a stray who simply had no other safe place to deliver her pups other than in the woods. Being found by this compassionate woman definitely saved the lives of both mom and her pups, one of which is this pretty little girl named Gemma.

Gemma is such a love, having a very friendly personality. She thrives on human interaction and plays very well with the other pups at her foster home. With proper training and guidance, Gemma will grow to be a wonderful family companion.

While she is up to date on scheduled vaccinations, Gemma will be due her final first year puppy vaccine and her rabies vaccination when she reaches 12 weeks of age. She's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter will have to agree to have her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to us. (A $100 refundable deposit will be placed on top of her adoption fee that the adopter has the option of being reimbursed once the verification has been supplied to our rescue.)
