**Goliath will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Aug 3-5th weekend.**

A man and his family took Goliath in after finding him as a stray. While this big fellow had a collar with his name written on it, no other identification or clues as to who he may have belonged to were found. A search for his owner also proved futile so the family decided to keep Goliath. But when the man received his orders to relocate (he's in our military) he knew he couldn't take Goliath with him so he asked SoCo Rescue for help. 

Goliath is a very big fellow, still a bit underweight at 90+ pounds. But as big as he is, his love of people is even bigger! Goliath's temporary home also included children and even cats, both of which he was fine with, but he doesn't seem to like sharing his space with another dog. Because of this, we'd suggest that he be kept as an only dog. We'd also recommend only older children due to his size.

Goliath also walks very well on a leash (but he is strong!), displayed near perfect house training skills and knows his basic commands. He always seems to be smiling and is one very happy fellow. He's now been neutered and had an update on all of his vaccinations and even recently tested negative for heartworms.
