**Gilligan will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, Pennington, NJ, over the Jan 12-14 weekend.**

Gilligan was just a baby when a family found him all alone and wandering the streets in their neighborhood. While they took him in to keep him safe, they knew that they couldn't keep him so he was brought to our rescue.

Gilligan definitely isn't shy when it comes to meeting new people or other dogs. His friendly personality and inquisitive nature allows him to make new friends easily. When playing with other pups he isn't submissive but doesn't exhibit an alpha personality either, he's kind of middle-of-the-road. All of this means that Gilligan will make a great family companion, even if there are children involved as long as the children know how to properly treat a young dog. He could be that dog that grows up with children and develops a lifelong bond with them. 

Gilligan will be due his final first year puppy vaccine on Jan 23 but has already received his rabies and bordetella vaccinations as well as having been wormed, treated against parasites and started on him monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. 

While we''re not positive , Gilligan may be a Boxer mix.
