Rosie's story is all to familiar in our area: found as a stray and no one claimed her as their own. But luckily for Rosie, the woman that found her offered to foster her until Rosie could be placed for adoption. This woman has given Rosie much more than just a place to sleep, she's given her love and companionship, which has helped prepare Rosie for a new home.

Rosie is a bit on the timid side upon meeting new people but has never shown any form of aggression towards strangers. Once she's become comfortable with a person, she is very playful and affectionate. Still being young, estimated to be around a year old, she does still exhibit those typical "puppy tendencies" and will need some guidance as she overcomes those traits. 

Rosie will make a great addition to just about any home. We do think she'd do better in a calmer environment and around older children who are less likely to startle her with loud noises and a lot of commotion. She will need some additional house training but should master the trait rather easy if properly trained.
