Lester came to SoCo Rescue after his former owner was arrested for drug possession. The authorities found Lester stuffed inside a cat crate, which is where his former owner was apparently keeping him. The crate was so small that Lester couldn't turn around, stand up or even get out of his own waste. 

Lester is now enjoying his freedom from his tight confines and no lasting affects from his harsh treatment. He enjoys running through our play yard, socializing with other dogs and simply loves people. He should make a great addition to just about any home.

We think Lester is a Shepherd mix but are not sure. We do know that he will be a large dog once fully grown. Since coming to SoCo, Lester has already been neutered and received a full regiment of his vaccinations and other basic vet care.
