Della came to us from horrid conditions not suitable for a human to live in let alone a dog. She was living outside in a deplorable, filthy yard.  When SoCo received the call to go out to the house we found her wandering around the yard aimlessly looking for food but mostly just finding garbage.  We knew she couldn't stay there and we didn't have room at the rescue at the time to get her in.  But SoCo vowed to get her out of there as soon as possible.  Within a few week's time we got Della out of there and gave her a safe place to live. Della is a beautiful girl that's full of energy.  She loves to play and will definitely put a smile on your face.  Della gets along well with both people and other dogs and she would make a great addition to a loving family.  She does love to play hard at times so an active dog would be best if the adopter has another pet.

Della is current on all her vaccinations, has been spayed and was treated for heart worms on Feb 8, 2017. She should be kept on a monthly heart worm preventative to ensure she never gets infected with them again. Della will need some house training as she's never lived in a home before as far as we know.  If interested in this sweet girl, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
