Jaci came to us from horrid conditions not suitable for a human to live in let alone a dog.  She, along with her sister,  spent two years locked in an outdoor, nasty, makeshift kennel that didn't even have a doorway for her owners to enter the kennel for cleaning, etc. Basically for two years, the only interaction with humans that Jaci had was when her former owners would dump food into their nasty food bowl. Of course the lack of love and proper vet care led to Jaci obtaining heart worms.

Since coming to SoCo Rescue, Jaci has not only been treated and cleared of heart worms and received all of her other basic vet care (spay, and update on all of her vaccines), she's also learned to enjoy being a dog who is loved. She also has done very well with her house training while in her foster homes.

Despite her lack of human interaction while at her former home, Jaci is a very people-oriented dog and gets along great with other dogs. Jaci also will do very well in a home with children.
