Homer's former owner was caught living illegally at a camp site. When told to move, the person simply left Homer and another dog behind.

Homer is a very people friendly dog and has a lot of energy. While he can be playful with other dogs, the introduction to other dogs needs to be done with patience. Homer loves to play fetch and loves affection. Being an high energy dog and his occasional "teeth" play, we'd recommend a home with no small children. If felt threatened, Homer may nip but is not typically an aggressive dog. And the amount of love and devotion this little fellow will give is incredible.

Homer was treated for heart worms in Jan 2017 As is typical with any dog that has been treated Homer should be retested in July 2017 to ensure he is still free and clear of heart worms and always kept on a monthly preventative.
